DESIGN, MAKE, and FINISH YOUR OWN CHARCUTERIE BOARD in this introduction to woodworking workshop!

Freels Wood Working Charcuterie Board Workshop is a new, exciting, and unique experience for a date night, a girl’s night, a family event, a company team building, or just an excuse to get out of the house!  Tired of escape rooms?  Tried a painting workshop and then realized you didn’t like your painting enough to even hang it up?  Looking for a hands-on, enjoyable experience that results in a product you can display proudly?  This is the workshop for you!

Gather a small group of family and friends and get ready to roll up your sleeves and get a little dusty!  Our workshop, located a couple minutes outside of AUBURN, Indiana, consists of a hands-on woodworking class that will teach you to make your own charcuterie board from start to finish.  Start your evening in our workshop by choosing your raw board from a variety of different native wood species with unique wood grain and markings.  From there, you’ll learn to design, shape, and sand your board, and finally give it a beautiful finish before you take it home!  

Don’t worry if you have no woodworking background or have never touched a piece of sandpaper!  You will be walked through each step of the process and can have as much help or autonomy as you want!  At the end of the class you will leave with some basic woodworking skills and your one-of-kind, hand-picked, hand-shaped, and hand-finished, made-by-you Charcuterie Board!

Workshop Cost:

This workshop is offered at a rate of $75 dollars per each person making a charcuterie board.  Keep in mind, the board you are walking out with would most likely cost that much by itself!

Workshop Dates and Times:

  Scheduled workshops are on:

    Wednesday nights at 6

    Saturdays at 10, 2, and 7

    Sunday at 2

If none of these times or dates work for you or your group, feel free to send us a message and we will set up a private workshop on the date of your choosing!

Workshop Group Sizes:

Groups of 1 to 8 people are always welcome!  (That's right, no need for a group!  If you want to do this by yourself that's not a problem!)  If you have a group of more than 8, please contact us first before signing up so we can make sure we can accommodate your numbers.
